Many book review blogs attempt to tell you whether they liked or recommend a book — without giving you the spoilers. The “should you read this book” book review. Or even more rarely, the don’t read this book review.
That is NOT how this book blog is. If I am reviewing a book, it is because I finished it. If I finished it, I liked it. I am fickle like that.
This blog is like the conversation you have at a book club. You’ve got a glass of wine… or a tall lemonade. And either friends or good acquaintances. Then the talking starts. Curiosity. Probing questions. The whys and the wherefores. And if you’re that person who didn’t read the book, you’re welcome here too.
That is what this blog is about. So there might be “spoilers” embedded in the talk, for sure. If you want to know whether to read a book, probably go to the other kind of book review blog.
And then come back once you’re done and want to think about what you read!
