Am I mad at the Democrats? Are you? (a rare analogy, for me)

I’ve been feeling upset with the Democrats in the House and Senate. Not for anything they’ve been doing. But what they are failing to do. Failing, in my eyes, to stand up to an ILLEGAL COUP.

Sometimes I hold the wrong person accountable for wrongs. Standing up to the actual perpetrator feels daunting, and pointless. They are not going to help. But who else but the Dems is even listening, will even admit the truth of what is happening?

I now view the situation this way: in the light of the story of Solomon and the Baby. Now I don’t usually refer to Bible stories, bit it feels like this fits.

I can now see that in their response to Donald Trump’s unconstitutional ripping apart of America’s government, Dems are holding back. Why? One reason might be this: in responding to the destruction of the government, they want to make sure that they do not also destroy the government. Much like the true mother in the story. She was the only one concerned for the wellbeing of the baby.

What-do-we-do-now?

Here’s another uplifting thought: We are more than the baby. We are also Solomon. We can judge and act. Support the candidates for the House Special Elections. Support targeted members of our society and government employees and contractors, farmers, those helping our Veterans.
